On October 18th I came back to Barcelona for a collaboration with the bass singer Stefano Palatchi. Palatchi (Latin Grammy winner) is a Spanish opera singer who has sung leading bass roles in Spain and internationally and is noted for stage skills, timbre. and expressiveness.
In last years he divided his artistic life between classical/opera music and jazz through the interpretation of standards repertoire “a la crooner.”
I wrote two arrangements (“Call me Irresponsible” and “What a Difference Day Made”) for his quintet and the experience was great, the band played so well!!
