On May 10th I was at Sonoria Recording Plant studio in Prato for recording the music of Dave Brubeck that we performed last April for “Ognissanti Suona il Jazz Festival”.
For that occasion I decided to make some changes from the original instrumentation: instead to have a string trio I choose a complete string chamber orchestra (7 violins, 2 violas and 2 cellos) in order to make a larger sonority.
The recording session was amazing and the musician were fantastic: and Pietro Tonolo amazing as solist on tenor sax and soprano sax!!
