In July, together with saxophonist Pedro Cortejosa and the Orquesta La Bramantina, we presented the Focus project, centered on the music of Eddie Sauter. A masterpiece of the “Third Stream” movement, “Focus” is a seven-movement work for soloist and orchestra composed by Eddie Sauter in 1961 for the great Stan Getz.

In April I was invited as part of the Erasmus+ program to give a series of masterclasses on jazz arrangement and composition at the Malaga Conservatory of Music, where I was able to interact with students from various jazz courses.

In July we were invited, together with the Tarragona Big Band and the Madrid singer Susana Ruiz, to the Torreilles Festival in France, where we presented a program of jazz standards arranged by me.  

In March, I was invited back to the Sesto Jazz Festival, where I presented my project, dedicated to revisiting the music of Dave Brubeck, with an ensemble a la “Third Stream” featuring strings and jazz instruments.
